About me
Javier obtained a PhD in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016 with focus on fluid mechanics. From 2016 to 2018, he was Postdoctoral Fellow at the Eindhoven University at Technology in the Netherlands working on flow instabilities during polymer processing. From 2019 to 2022, he was a Rheology Application Scientist at Anton-Paar, where he provided technical support to sales representatives and customers in academia and industry across the East Coast. In 2022, he joined the Interface and Material Physics Group at PPG as a Research Engineer, where he fosters collaboration with groups by connecting knowledge gaps with experimental tools and practical understanding of colloid science.
